Are you a registered nurse? FCMS is looking for a Clinical Lead to oversee the Waterloo House Surgery in Millom

We are a well-established practice, providing great care for 8,500 patients. The service has been rated as “Outstanding” overall by the CQC.

The main duties include acting as an autonomous practitioner, working independently within your professional boundaries to assess, diagnose and treat patients. The role consists of telephone and face to face appointments providing advice and clinical assessment when required. In addition, you will also action and request tests such as bloods, x rays, letters and ultrasound scans.

You will take a lead role for diabetic patients, initiating and monitoring their dietary and medication needs, altering medication doses when required in keeping with any blood test results. Furthmore, you will provide support and assurance to the clinical team on a day-to-day basis, assisting with any transitions/changes to management.
