Lead Finance Officer needed with Gloucestershire County Council

**Start** **Date**:

- ASAP
**Location** - Gloucester
**Duration** - Initially 6 months
**Hours** **per** **week** - 37 hours per week
**Salary** - £21.90 ltd an hour

**Description**:

- To work within the Adult Social Care Service at Gloucestershire County Council
- To lead and manage our various financial services teams to ensure that quality service is delivered
- Provide advice and guidance on complex cases and support the teams to ensure arrangements meet individual social are needs
- Ensure all processes and procedures are developed in accordance with the GCC financial services
- Monitor service delivery against agreements and to take steps to ensure that the service meets these requirements
- Support the Assistant Head of Adult Support Services Finance and Improvement by providing management cover across the finance teams in the absence of the principal officer

**What is required?**
- Management and leadership experience in a financial and statutory services environment
- Experience monitoring and reporting on the progress of programmes
- Active continuing professional development
- Professional qualification to degree level or demonstrable analytical thinking skills and management qualifcation
