Associate Technologist

**Title: Associate Technologist - Virtual Desktop**

**Salary: £65,000**

**Location: Remote / Offices based across the UK**

This is a great opportunity for a technologist tohone their skills in virtual desktop solutions and sales.

**Your Role**:
As an Associate Technologist, you will directly support the Executive and Advisor level Solutions Sales team and related technology partners on mid-market customer engagements. Alongside our Chief Technologists, you will contribute to our go to market messaging,sharing insights from engagements with our customers and your experience in the industry.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Engage with IT organisations to influence customer strategy and become a trusted advisor
- Identifying clear customer outcomes, vendor and services suitability, and the best approach for the company to propose
- Demonstrate technical leadership by driving collaboration between sales and technical communities to achieve customer success
- Develop our sales specialists to elevate their capabilities through structured team and one-to-one training
- Attend customer opportunity and strategy meetings

**Desired skills**:

- Experience working with, some or all the following: Citrix on-premises, Citrix DaaS, VMware Horizon, VMware Horizon Cloud, VMware WorkspaceOne, Microsoft AVD, Microsoft W365, AWS WorkSpaces, AWS AppStream 2.0, Amulet Hotkey
- A good understanding of on-premises, cloud and hybrid virtual desktop and virtual app solutions, as well as endpoint and connectivity requirements
- An understanding of virtual desktop build, deployment, management, and operating models.
- An understanding of HCI, 3 tier and cloud architecture models
- An understanding of security fundamentals
