Pro Locums 24 we are looking for support workers who have experience working in the field of autism, learning disabilities and mental health, working in supported living services in Oswestry and the surrounding area. These are permanent position for day contracts, the autism / learning disabilities positions require you to work 1 sleep in per week, the mental health positions are long days only. Monday to Friday positions are available, 35 per week however for this role you will need your own car.

If you can't commit to a rota and are looking for flexibility to pick and choose when you are available to work then an agency support worker position would be more suitable for you, working within hostels, supported living and children’s homes.

**PLEASE NOTE PERSONAL CARE WILL BE INVOLVED FOR THE AUTISM / LEARNING DISABILITIES ROLES.**

**£10.85ph - 11.25ph, 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract (Part time maybe available)**

**£11.70ph - 15ph, Zero hr agency contract**

**Shifts**

**7:30am-3pm, 3pm-10pm**

**8am-8pm**

**Start dates are dependant upon references and DBS.**

Both roles will require you to work alongside a small staff team, you will help our clients deliver 1st class support to their residents, duties will include monitoring and checking on residents to ensure they are supported in their daily life and helping them learn life skills to enable them to live fully independently in the community. Duties will vary depending on the setting.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months ideally 2 years recent work experience as a support worker (agency & permanent posts), although applicants with life experience and those with a genuine desire to start a career within health & social care will be considered too (perm posts only)
- Your own car preferably
- Current DBS on the online update service (this will speed up the process)
- Up to date mandatory training certificates (this will speed up the process)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £10.85-£15.00 per hour
