Do you have experience in quality assurance? This London-based company are seeking a quality assurance coordinator to join their growing team. The company operate in the processed food sector and majority of their business is overseas. The initial periodof employment will be an 8-week FTC with the view to extend.

During this role you will be assisting manufacturing suppliers (this can be factories) to help deliver products to the UK and overseas markets, that the company operates in.

**Responsibilities**:
The company are looking for a quality assurance to travel around Europe to visit the manufacturers of the processed food and ensure that zero defect is achieved as much as possible. The travel will include visiting Spain, Austria, Italy, France and all overthe UK. You will work with the team in the UK to report on findings, concerns and next steps to ensure that actions can be completed. This will be a pivotal role as standards are very high and this will hopefully reduce waste across the company.

You will be in a manufacturing setting daily and integrate with different cultures. You will need to build supplier relationships and knowledge of capabilities. This will include challenging supply partners and helping to drive new ideas. Support the businesswith management of consistent, safe and high-quality product supply and work with suppliers to ensure that gold standard is achieved in Process Control.

Training is provided however a basic understanding and interest in quality checking is essential.

**Skills**:

- Quality assurance experience or knowledge is essential
- The ability to travel across Europe is also essential
- Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous
- Well organised, a strong communicator, adaptable and attention to detail is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
- Be able to work in a team, communicate with external bodies and the desire to learn new skills

The role is Monday to Friday and the company are looking to get the right person in as soon as possible.
