**Job summary**:
We have an opportunity for the **Goods-in Warehouse Operative** to join our team at our BRC certificated site at Barking, East London. Within this role you will be working within a fast paced, FMCG environment that has significant growth plans.

The overall responsibility is to receive and dispatch goods in our busy Goods In/Out Department and pack goods for replenishment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages.
- Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures.
- Ensure all CCPs and relevant paperwork are completed on daily basis.
- Ensure all stock is allocated, rotated, and labelled accordingly to internal procedures.
- Recording and reporting waste.
- Move goods to relevant departments using pallets trucks and electric ride on trucks.
- Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any short shipments/mis-picks.
- Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction.
- Physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock onto the shelves.
- Shelf replenishment: take from pallet bin locations, replenish shelf, and then put the balance back in pallet bin location.
- Packing goods into boxes.
- Maintain yard and department tidiness/recycle the cardboard.
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded.
- Always maintain the standards of hygiene, personal appearance (uniform) and cleanliness.
- Assemble boxes

**Requirements**:

- Forklift license an advantage but not essential, training provided.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work to procedures.
- Good communicator.
- Experience in manual handling and Goods In/Out preferred but not essential.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
- Flexible and trustworthy.
- Heavy lifting.
