An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Nurse with a passion for Respiratory Nursing. The position is a Hybrid role, working with both lung cancer patients and general respiratory patients. You will be responsible in providing high standards of specialist nursing skills as part of a multi professional team to patients attending the Respiratory department or who are inpatients.

To support and develop the service through evidence-based practice to ensure clinical effectiveness.

The clinical nurse specialist is responsible for their own clinics, which include face to face, video, and telephone clinics. The Respiratory department runs a sleep service for both Wiltshire and Dorset, NIV clinics, Oxygen, Asthma, Lung Cancer service, MDT and an inpatient service seeing patients with a wide range of respiratory diseases.

The post holder is expected to provide and enhance patient care through continuous professional development, facilitated through the knowledge and kills framework.

To act as a mentor and role model to others.
