**Do you want to work for the UK’s leading Technology, Innovation and Research Centre for Offshore Renewable Energy?**

Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting a **FINANCE ASSISTANT** for the office in Glasgow to provide an efficient financial processing capability within the organisation.

The role will provide operational support to the finance team.

**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FULL-TIME ROLE OF 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK. WE CAN NOT CONSIDER PART-TIME FOR THIS PARTICULAR ROLE.**

What will I do?
- Review, create and issue Purchase Orders on Sage Intacct Accounting system
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements
- Raise customer sales invoices
- Review and approve employee expenses claims
- Undertake credit control activities, chase outstanding balances and ensure invoices are paid
- Allocate payments and receipts to supplier and customer accounts
- Process company credit card transactions
- Prepare month end journals

What are we looking for?
- Good experience in a similar role with a high volume of invoices and queries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience with Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
