Nursery Practitioner

**Ivy Mill Day Nursery**, a unique family owned independent setting located in an idyllic village centre location in Liphook, Hampshire are recruiting for a Level 3 qualified Practitioner.

**A Little About Us**:
Opened in late 2022, we are a Steiner influenced setting and hold great value in learning through play and in the environment. We have designed a setting to inspire and captivate young minds and imaginations and we are seeking a team member to join us now at this exciting time of our progression.

**The Role**:

- _**This is a full time position, with 40 hours per week across four 10 hour shifts, 8:00 - 18:00. Rotating day off each week.

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- To provide the highest standards of quality childcare and education.
- To ensure that health and safety, safeguarding and security measures are constantly maintained.
- To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures.
- To contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children.
- To work in close partnership and to develop and maintain good relationships with parents and carers and other family members.
- Keep children's files up to date including photographs and observations
- Assist with planning a programme of activities, suitable for the age range of the children, following the guidelines for the implementation of the EYFS
- To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
- To work as a member of the nursery team, showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment which encourages the children’s all round development and where high standards of care are provided.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:
