**Here is a list of some of the key responsibilities for the Mechanical Design Engineer**:

- Working within a multi-discipline team to produce innovative design solutions.
- Development and evolving ideas into detailed designs using 3D CAD.
- Producing detailed layouts using 2D CAD.
- Producing comprehensive BOMs.
- Regular meetings and communications with multiple teams in the business.
- Compliant with all relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures.
- Provide support to the Sales team.
- Provide technical support during the build, testing and commissioning project phases.
- Time management and project management.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset.

**Here are some of the requirements for the position**:

- Mechanical design/engineering experience.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Highly proficient in 3D CAD/Solidworks with experience designing for manufacture.
- Previous experience using Solidworks PDM.
- Strong concentration and methodical approach to work.
- Excellent time management skills, project management and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Have a passion for engineering.
