**About the Role**
Our client is looking for a Distribution and Inventory Specialist, someone that either has leadership / supervisory experience or has the aptitude and desire to develop in to a Supervisor or Manager in Distribution and Inventory. This is a fantastic opportunityto join a growing thriving business who value their staff and have strong development pathways.
They are looking for somebody with export experience and good organisation, planning, foresight and initiative.
- Control and monitoring of receiving/storage area in line with guidelines
- Responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of hygiene/cleanliness in storage areas
- Responsible for acting on any temperature fluctuations as directed
- Responsible for regularly conducting physical inventory counts and verifying information against warehousing systems
- Will receive product via Finished Goods Received (FGR) and allocate storage locations accordingly
- Will locate received product in storage area
- Responsible for fully coordinating product transfers
- Responsible for monitoring available storage space
- Acts as back up for conducting inspection of goods upon arrival
- Will pick inventory according to shippers in priority order
- Will pack and quality check orders once ready for distribution
- Supports in preparing logistics documents associated with exporting of goods (prior approval)
- Process domestic and international shipments through a variety of carrier systems
