Warehouse Loader

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Loader to join our warehouse team. The Loader will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials and products, ensuring that all items are handled safely and accurately. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining an organised work environment.

**Duties**
- Load and unload materials and products from lorries and containers.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate shipping and receiving of goods by following established procedures.
- Maintain an organised warehouse space, ensuring that all items are stored correctly.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and movements.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functionality.
- Assist with materials handling tasks, including building pallets for shipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude towards safety practices in the workplace.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.53 per hour
