Job Title: Experienced Sustainability Consultant

Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Being part of the Sustainability team you will help lead in developing sustainability strategies and conducting assessments, providing net zero carbon services, enhancing building performance, conducting life-cycle carbon analysis, and promoting well-being.

They are pioneers in delivering services related to life-cycle carbon analysis, circular economy principles, and achieving net zero carbon goals in our industry. With the firm belief that creating a genuine and lasting sustainable impact requires customising analysis and advice to directly influence the design of each individual project.

Essential experience:

- 3+ years experience of sustainability consultancy in the built environment.
- Knowledge of BREEAM or other environmental assessment methods such as Home Quality Mark or LEED, Living Building Challenge, NABERS etc.
- Knowledge of net zero carbon and carbon benchmarks and embodied carbon analysis.
- Setting and delivering sustainability strategies for new projects or portfolios.
- Experience of structuring and writing design reports.
- Being in a client facing role.
- Able to prepare bids and fee proposals.

Desirable:

- Experience in undertaking Life Cycle Carbon Analysis.
- Experience in developing Circular Economy Strategies.
- Experience in organisational sustainability consultancy.
- Experience of WELL and Fitwel and other experience of designing for Wellbeing.
- Experience of developing bespoke sustainability frameworks.
