**Job Overview**

This role will be covering the physiotherapy reception desk which involves booking and amending appointments, as well as answering the telephone. As you will be patient facing, excellent communication skills are essential. There will be some cancelling and rebooking appointments to maximise clinical time for the therapists. Other aspects of the role will involve booking meetings into diaries and template building on electronic clinical rotas for therapists. Knowledge of word, excel and power point would be useful to help with general administrative tasks.

You may come into telephone contact with patients accessing all of our clinics, around the City and County a total of 8 teams, delivering care across 14 different sites. You will also provide remote administrative support as required to those therapy teams.

You will be accessing the SystmOne electronic patient record system to record referrals, book appointments and note key comments regarding interactions, so it is important that you are confident to use a telephone and a computer. Full training to use SystmOne will be provided.

We are aware that there will be a steep learning curve on joining the team, and want you to be reassured that you will be trained and supported every step of the way. Due to the nature of the role, home working is not suitable for this position. The hours will be covering mornings - Monday to Friday 7.45 am
- 11.30 am
