A large secondary school in the Leeds area is looking for a Behaviour Mentor/Teaching Assistant to join their ever-growing support department. The school is a flourishing school and has an Inclusion centre within their SEN department where students are supported on a 1 to 1 basis. The school are seeking an experienced Mentor or TA to join their growing team to support students within this area as well as in the classroom. This school has a second to none provision for students with additional needs.
This is a full-time support role starting with immediate effect. The school are in the process of identifying students who require specific support and have already noted this support is required.

Full time Behaviour Mentor role
Ideally the successful mentor will be able to relate to the students well, acting as a role model and someone they can look up to. Engaging with the students is the key to this role and will suit someone who can build on relationships and gain the trust and buy in from students.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
