Export Packer/ Case Maker

**Job Summary**
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Export Case Maker/Manufacturer to work at our fast-paced warehouse environment in Tamworth.

The role will include working as an Export Packer as well as case making. You will be required to ensure the safe and secure packaging goods into large cases ensuring safety and security to minimise deterioration or damage in storage and transportation.

The role will undertake a variety of jobs including use of pneumatic tools to manufacture and pack a variety of products, on the job training will be given. This position will entail working along side the team to fulfil deadlines for orders.

**Main Duties**:
The main duties with our Case Maker/Manufacturer role shall include:

- Working to Health & Safety requirements at all times
- Working to schedule to meet order deadlines for customers.
- Working with variety of woods including plywood & hardwood.
- Complete maintenance & safety checks
- Manual handling is part of daily job role
- Reading and interpreting written instructions i.e. packing requirements, weights, sizes.
- A team player
- Punctual
- Enthusiastic
- Self-motivated
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team
- Be reliable and honest
- A Driving licence required is adventageous
- A Forklift Licence would be advantageous
- Experience working to deadlines
- Experience of using nail and staple guns, circular, band or cross saws an advantage

Pay: From £11.60 per hour

Expected hours: 39.25 per week
