**Introduction**:
Working for an award winning and customer focussed financial services provider in the North West, as an HR Consultant you will be a key People, Culture and Engagement Advisor and be part of a relatively small but effective HR team (circa. 185 FTE in thebusiness). This is a Fixed Term Contract to help the business through a period of growth and change that comes with this, lasting at least 6 months with potential for longer. You will be a valuable partner to the Head of People in effecting new, progressiveHR policies.

**The HR Consultant role**:
You will work across their business functions and branch network supporting various management levels, ensuring that operational People initiatives are aligned to business goals to enable the business to deliver the best experience for its customers andenhance their employer brand proposition.

This will include developing leading edge employment benefits packages to ensure they are able to effectively attract and retain key talent to support their growth strategy. You will develop, manage and ensure delivery of regular people activities such asculture and engagement initiatives, including facilitating staff focus groups and surveys and providing feedback and recommendations to their Leadership Team. You will also be required to provide general HR advice to all levels of staff.

This can only be done successfully by working in partnership and effectively engaging their Senior Leadership team, this is strategic position which will really contribute to the long term success of the business.

**Requirements of the HR Consultant**

We are looking to attract people who are passionate about people and the customers they serve. You will likely be CIPD qualified and have worked in a regulated environment previously, managing change and a partnering with the senior leadership team of abusiness. Whilst much of the work can be done remotely, you will be required to be onsite regularly which may well require overnight stays and so you must be able to do this.
