We take great pride in offering a professional, caring, and sensitive service to our customers when they are confronted with thedeath of a loved one, or when discussing the prearrangement of funeral plans.
Based in our central offices (Portsmouth), in this role you will be responsible for offering support and delivering excellent client experience through the selling of pre-paid funeral plans, memorialisation and aftercare services to clients.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Confidently manage, support, and process all funeral plan enquiries in line with Company procedures and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations.
- Sell, arrange, and administer funeral and memorial plans and aftercare services, whilst ensuring the fair treatment of clients.
- Embrace, support and deliver our End-of-Life Service (ELS) vision in a professional, honest, caring, and empathetic manner.
- Embrace and endorse ELS Bereavement care team and any aftercare services for individuals, groups, and colleagues.
- Escalate complaints or concerns to the Funeral Sales Manager.
- Engage and complete relevant FCA CPD requirements, ELS and Southern Co-op training, own individual development plan (IPD), whilst proactively highlighting gaps relating to personal performance.
**KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Numerical and financial confidence and awareness
- Customer service experience
- Competent administration skills, with experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge or experience of funerals and funeral plan environment, or experience from within an FCA regulated sales environment preferred
- Good communication skills with a confident, empathetic and professional manner
- Willingness to build/promote existing links within the community
