**Context and Purpose of The Role**

Bremont is bringing movement manufacturing back to the UK with the launch of its first movement, the ENG300. This state-of-the-art movement has been designed for ease of assembly using a mix of automated, semi-automated and manual machinery. All machinery and infrastructure is new and full training is available.

This varied role covers the full range of assembly activities. Due to the broad range of machinery and assembly techniques the role will evolve over time to suit the individuals expanding skill set.

Cleanliness, accuracy and an unfaltering attention to detail is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**

The duties will be in line with experience and ability, increasing over time to include the list below. Training & supervision will be made available as and when necessary:

- Assemble movement sub-assemblies and complete movements.
- Tests products in accordance with Bremonts guidelines.
- Participates in stock picking components, consumables and tools when required.
- Provides basic Quality control for components or products as and when required.
- Uses IT workstations to enter data when required for status and tracking of flow products and components.
- Undertakes training and implements updated working practice for new products, procedures and technical updates.
- Supports Team Leader in Depelopment activities, including new equipment & tooling.
- Cares about their wider working environment, maintaining cleanliness on his/her bench and in the team locations under his/her joint responsibility.
- Discusses issues as they arise including quality and Technincal matters and provides feedback to achieve the necessary productivity levels.
- Coaches’ colleagues and shares knowledge to advance the teams productivity and efficiency.
- Works in a safe and proper manor, has a good understanding of woking with small scale mechanical assemblies.
- Uses provided PPE and maintains them in good order.
- Has a good understanding of equipment and tools and their safe operation.
- Respects and maintains equipment allocated to him/her in good working order. This includes sharpening, washing cleaning.

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 5 GCSE, inc Maths and English
- Experience working within a small team.
- Excellent fine motor skills with a patient and controlled approach.
- Passion for consistently delivering to an extremely high standard.
- History of working with precision small scale assemblies. Watchmaking, cable & PCB assembly and jewelry manufacture are all relevant industries.
- Proficient with common PC software.
