**We have a part time vacancy available on a brand new assignment working for an educational client based in Hartlepool.**
The vacancy would be working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1600 - 2215, Wednesday 1600 - 2115, Friday off.
**Please bear in mind during non-term time the working hours may vary so alternative work would be offered on other sites in the North East.**
The main role of the Security Officer will be to provide security support and assistance to staff, visitors and a diverse range of students in order to maintain a safe and secure campus.

**Some of the duties will include**:
Ensuring no unauthorised persons access site
Taking charge of the general welfare of students
Undertaking patrols and inspections in accordance to the site specific assignment instructions
Assisting staff and visitors on site
Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported to the control room
Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to
**Security officer requirements**:
Valid Frontline SIA Licence, either Security Guarding or Door Supervisor
Smart and Presentable
Good communication skills
5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858
Report writing skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to think on their feet and excellent decision making skills
