Early Help Hub Information and Advice Officer
2 weeks ago
About the role
The Early Help Hub sits alongside the Multi-Agency Assessment Hub (MASH). It is Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council’s point of contact for families and professionals doing an Early Help Assessment. It coordinates access to targeted early help services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and provides advice and guidance on cases managed by the professionals already involved. The Early Help Hub receives contacts that do not need a statutory service (Social Care) but require multi agency support through Early Help Services to support a family’s needs.
What will you be doing?
Within the role, your main focus will be ensuring children and families across the county are given information and access to services that will meet their current needs. You will be responsible for triaging Early Help Assessments, liaising with families and professionals to ensure positive outcomes for families across Cambridgeshire.
About you
To undertake this role, we need individuals who can work as a team; the Early Help hub prides itself on creating a positive, inclusive and caring work based culture. Empathy and compassion are two of the key qualities needed to undertake this role. The ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, whilst being analytical in your approach to work are a must.
Please do contact the recruiting manager to discuss the role in more detail.
