Position: Business Operations Technician

**Salary**: up to £35,000 per annum + Bonus
Location: City of London
If you are someone who comes from a broking background and wants to move into the Business Operations function of the Insurance sector then I have the job for you.
My client is looking for someone who has experience with Xchanging systems and someone with a bubbly personality to fit into the young, dynamic Business Ops team.
**Responsibilities**:

- Check the correctness of Slips & Endorsements passed to Biz Ops for processing by our Client Market Teams (Brokers).
- Produce Client Debit / Credit Documentation and deal directly with our Client Market Teams on a daily basis.
- Produce Premium Closings for Insurers that are outside market (i.e. don't close through Xchanging)
- Produce Letters of Undertaking for the Marine Specialty Department when required
- Risk Process Premium using MRSL Broking System for Non EU Risks and Academy (Brexit Solution) Broking System for EU Impacted Risks
- Produce LPANS for submission to Xchanging for Marine & PCS (Property, Casualty & Specialty) risks written by bureau markets.
- Load documents onto the A&S Repository and submit accordingly.
- Resolve any queries raised by Xchanging (Lloyd's, ILU and Lirma) and Underwriters in respect of Premium.
- Assist Accounts Department with queries/ enquiries.
- Submit Correction requests to Xchanging for risks that have instalments closed via Deferred Settlement Scheme.

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Proficiency in MS Outlook
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel etc)
- Collaborative team working approach
- Accurate attention to detail
- Good written language skills
- Prioritise work effectively
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Knowledge of various Xchanging systems.
