**About the role**
Our Day Services team provide personalised social and vocational training programmes for autistic and neurodivergent adults, developing their potential and promoting economic inclusion. Working independently and as part of a team, you’ll support adults to access a varied timetable of activities both within our training centres and in the community.

**About you**
While we value experience, it is not essential to have previously worked in social and vocational training or with autistic people. Our comprehensive induction, training and mentoring will give you all the skills and tools you need to thrive in your career.

All that we ask is that you are a good team player with a can-do attitude, drive and resilience for what can be a demanding role. You should be friendly and approachable with good communication skills, enabling you to build positive, trusting relationships with the adults we support.

Our staff come from all walks of life, and bring their experiences, interests and skills - be that cooking, sports, the outdoors, art or crafts - with them to enrich the lives of those who access our services. If you’re seeking a rewarding job and want to make a genuine difference, this is the role for you.

**About us**
For more than 40 years, we’ve led the way in providing care and education for autistic and/or neurodivergent children, young people and adults across the North-east of England.

We have more than 1,000 staff working in our schools, college, short breaks, day services, residential care, supported living, employment services and family support. We are passionate about retaining talent and many of our current managers have worked their way up through the ranks.
