Now Education are seeking a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support local Special Schools around Birmingham.

Our Client's are increasingly requiring day to day, short and long-term cover across classes catering for pupils with ASC, MLD, SLD, PMLD and SEMH. Therefore an understanding of Special Educational Needs, Associated Challenging Behaviours, and Communication is imperative.

**Term Time Only**

**£100 - £125 per day depending on experience**

Have you got:

- A positive attitude
- Resilience
- Willingness to work with challenging pupils
- Good numeracy/literacy skills
- Good computer skills
- An understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment standards in your specialist area
- Experience teaching children in an education environment
- The ability to engage appropriately with pupils, adults and develop rapport
- The Ability to recognise conflict and challenging behaviours with pupils and willing to address behaviours once trained
- GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or Functional Skills L2 in English and Maths, or equivalent?
