With an entrepreneurial-focused culture the business is looking for a Head of Finance Operations to drive transformation and change across its manufacturing sites to improve overall efficiency.

As the Head of Finance Operations, you will work closely with the teams in Supply Chain and Site Operations to drive performance through the development and implementation of operational efficiency/cost reduction initiatives, challenge through insightfulanalysis and influence operational decisions.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Partner with the Operations leadership team to develop key operational performance indicators to drive improvements and provide insightful analysis of operational variances - MPV, Labour, Overhead etc
- Lead the annual budget process and identify risks and opportunities. Manage the monthly forecast process.
- Champion the drive to reduce working capital (stock), ensuring the development and execution of plans to deliver agreed targets. Drive the Stock Forecasting & Demand Analysis processes, liaising with operational teams as necessary. Assist in audit queriesrelating to Stock Management & COS.
- Identify and implement opportunities to standardise and simplify ways of working across the UK FP&A function.
- Partner with Site leaders to analyse proposed capital expenditure and calculate payback periods.
- Oversee analysis of procurement initiatives and cost inflation to raw materials, liaising with procurement to provide visibility of trends impacting the business
- Lead and develop one direct report.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel) and ability to interpret large amounts of financial data and provide meaningful insights to influence key decisions.
- Substantial experience in a manufacturing environment with extensive knowledge of driving cost efficiency within supply chain and operations.
- Strong commercial acumen and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and good stakeholder management.
