Production Scheduler/capacity Planner

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and meet production targets.
- Develop and maintain the production schedule based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Allocate reserve space for potential orders in response to sales enquiries.
- Collaborate with various departments including production, Design, Progress and Sales to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement and to anticipate potential production issues and develop contingency plans.
- Communicate changes and lead times to all staff on a weekly or more frequently basis.

**Required skills**:

- Proven experience as a Production Scheduler or in a similar role.
- Ability to concentrate in an environment of multiple demands and distractions.
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadline.
- Effective communication skills.

**Schedule**:

- 38 hours a week
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
- Friday 8am - 2:45pm
- Full time permanent role

**Salary**: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Supply chain: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
