We are looking for a Service Manager for our client's family run main dealer in the West Yorkshire area.

Reporting to the Group Aftersales Manager and the Directors, you will be customer facing and hands on, whilst overseeing 6 Technicians, 2 Service Advisors and a Parts Advisor. You will manage your team and their efficiencies effectively and be able to coverall aspects of the role, taking ownerships of problems, and of providing the highest level of customer care at all times.

**The Service Manager job**:

- Successfully managing and driving the technicians and service work
- Managing staff training and accreditation
- Delivering exceptional customer service and CSI standards
- Documenting all warranty work as per manufacturers' requirements and dealership policy
- Monitoring and reacting to daily operating control reports, enquiries, complaints and etc
- Reporting of performance and key figures to the Directors and Group Aftersales Manager
- Achieving set targets
- Managing departmental compliance and ensuring manufacturer minimum standards are met

**About You**:

- Already have experience in this type of role
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
- Be extremely professional, reliable, highly organised and structured, with a stable motor trade history
- Able to manage, coach and motivate staff and colleagues, helping to ensure a welcoming, friendly environment
