Higher Level Learning Support Worker

30 hours per week Mon-Fri

The Higher Level Learning Support Worker is an essential part of the Intervention Team. They will be strategically deployed by the Assistant Head of School for Literacy for Learning, in consultation with the Reading Intervention Teacher, to support individual and small groups of pupils to overcome barriers to learning to enable them to realise their full potential and secure good outcomes.

The post holder will work collaboratively with teaching staff in the whole planning cycle and in the management and preparation of resources. They will utilise advance levels of skills and knowledge to contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of learning, behaviour and achievement throughout the academy.

The post holder will encourage pupils to become independent learners and provide support for their welfare and inclusion in all aspects of school life.

They will strive for excellence in all they do and be committed to providing first class provision for all our pupils. Excellent teamwork, high standards and a capacity to work hard will be at the core of their success. They will be flexible with the ability, determination and commitment to work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to continue the development of the Academy.

**Salary**: £20,480.00-£22,691.00 per year
