**Key purpose of role**:
To drive the College minibus or other vehicles in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of passengers, other road users, members of the public and the driver at all times. The driver may be expected to assist the teacher once the students have arrived at the venue. The driver will be expected to be fully conversant with safeguarding regulations and act accordingly.

Please note: to comply with the insurance policy, the postholder cannot have more than 6 points on their licence, and will need to notify the college if they receive any points during their contractual employment.

**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to gain on appointment)
- Hold a full, current, clean and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PCV licence or D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997).
