Café Supervisor

We at The Oaks are looking for an individual who takes pride in providing excellent customer services skills to fulfil the exciting role as Café Supervisor. Your role will be to work with our Manager to ensure the workplace is running as smoothly as possible. You will also be responsible for helping to manage the customer relationship, ensuring that customers have great confidence in the restaurant through the provision of excellent service. Working as a team to a high standard and in compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations.

To have a welcoming personality to the business and be able to work with the team and help supervise and support the Manager when needed, including Holiday cover when the manager is on leave.

Flexibility to work at both sites depending on which needs cover.

Skill Set:

- Previous supervisory experience
- Oversee the daily running of the restaurant, prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the restaurant.
- Serve employees and visitors utilising the restaurant throughout the day, deliver refreshments and buffets around the building, operate the till.
- Maintain good cleaning standards within the kitchen, seating areas and storerooms, completing relevant records to always ensure compliance.
- Attend team meetings, manage stock and deliveries as instructed and required.

Preferred qualification/ skills:

- Be educated to GCSE level (inc Maths & English).
- Be aware of Health and Safety regulations and HACCP.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships.
- Effective communication skills
- Effective time management and organisation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.
- Actively work part of and lead a team.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
