Since 1944 AD Construction Group has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, predominantly to local authority housing associations. Working as a close-knit team the organisation has successfully proven time and time again its ability to be a serious competitor in the construction industry.

We are looking for a driver to help with deliveries and collections of materials and equipment to the relevant sites. Due to variety of locations that we have sites, the succesful applicant will be expected to cover sites including, but not limited to, Islington, Brighton, and sometimes even over to the Isle of Wight.

**Main duties**:

- Ensure that deliveries and collections are effectively planned so material and equipment resources are available as required
- Carry out regular inspections of equipment delivered and collected, ensuring that equipment is in good condition. Arrange for write-off of beyond repair items and repairs to items where appropriate
- Carry out equipment checks on site/s against inventory records as directed by senior management, ensuring all records and reports are correctly completed and copies are passed to the Purchasing Department
- Maintain the yard and head office stores area - ensuring the area if clear and well organised

**Essential Skills/Knowledge**:

- Full manual driving license
- Confident driver
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Must be personable and a great communicator, able to adapt to different situations and types of people

**Package**:

- Salary - £23,000
- Hours - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
- Holidays + bank holidays and Christmas Closure
- Work vehicle (tracked) and fuel card for business use
- AD branded uniform and relevant PPE
- Mobile for business use

**Additional Information**:

- DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company’s expense
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Six Month Probationary Period
