Marketing Industrial Placement

**Contract**: 12 months placement

**Working hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

**Location**:Head Office, Sheffield, S35 2PW. Located just off Junction 35A off the M1. We offer free onsite parking.

We have a fantastic one year placement opportunity for 2 Business/Marketing, Life Science or Pharmacy students

You will work with our Marketing & Sales Communications and Clinical Nutrition or Anesthesia and Pharma teams to drive and develop marketing and commercial activity on a range of products and devices.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Ensuring effective allocation of all relevant marketing materials
- Develop and implement effective marketing activities and campaigns incorporating corporate requirements which address current product marketing needs
- Analyse market data and marketing analytics
- Assist Sales and Marketing teams at exhibitions and meetings
- Work alongside the Marketing team to ensure the marketing budget is achieved
- Ensure adequate product stock levels at all times through effective liaison with Supply Chain, regular forecasting activity and reviewing market trends
- Assist where necessary customer in-service activities
- Assist Product Manager with preparation of marketing plans and marketing reporting
- Assist marketing team with required pricing and usage data for tender submissions
- Work alongside the central Marketing team to develop content for digital marketing activity
- Support the central Marketing team with marketing campaign planning and development

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Be studying towards a Business/Marketing, or Life Science/Pharmacy related degree
- Be able to work as part of a team, working effectively to influence situations across many internal departments
- Be able to manage and prioritise your own workload and deliver creative solutions
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Have the flexibility to travel and hold a full driving license
