Part-time Bookkeeper

Due to the expansion of the company and our current bookkeeper relocating we have a vacancy for a part time Bookkeeper and are looking for someone who can start immediately.

The vacancy is open to a self-employed bookkeeper.

The hours are once a week to start with. We have anticipated 6-8 hours per week, but once you have the feel of the job and what is required, you would have an idea as to whether you would need more or less time.

Our requirements are:

- Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
- We use Sage for our accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- Completing and submitting VAT returns
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Credit control including Debt Collection
- Process Payroll. We use Moneysoft
- Weekly/Fortnightly reports for the MD-including aged creditors, credit notes, VAT and P&L

You would answer directly to the MD.

Our office hours are 07:30 to 16:30 but there is a degree of flexibility within those hours for the bookkeeping role.

Dress code is smart casual. No jeans.
