This role is the Data Engineer within the HR Data, Analytics & Process Optimisation team. The role will focus on data design, architecture and management for digital HR processes, as part of the HR Process Optimisation team.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
- Develop, build and run data quality monitoring to ensure people and organisation data assets are reliable or use in analytics and operational processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot data errors and work with transacting process teams to ensure that appropriate focus is put on understanding and fixing root cause of any data issues and specific data gaps.
- Build and evolve data visualisation sources that enable self-service to people and organisation information to HR and wider business customers.
- Create and manage data assets and outputs that enable effective user experience, automation quality and self-service.
- Support the design of data architecture and build to enable digital processes to be built and operated.
- Contribute to the maturity of a data dictionary, with master and secondary data sources, data definitions and data flows for people and organisation data.
- Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
- Operate mechanisms and procedures for data sharing that comply with GDPR
- Support and guide others in the daily use of data and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
- Define data input and transacting standards to enable quality of input which in turn enables quality of output
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role with a proven track record of delivery in Data, Reporting or Analytics.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (creating VLOOKUPs, Graphs, Charts, Pivots).
- Basic experience with SQL (Creating tables, Queries, Manipulating Data).
- Experience working with people data, technology and systems, e.g. SAP / Success Factors.
- Understanding and experience of HR data sets and information sourcess
- Experience of using Microsoft Flows, Power Query, SharePoint.
- Knowledge/Experience with GCP.
- Experience with Tableau Dashboards and building data visualisation.
