**Hours of work**:Wednesday to Saturday 9:30am-10:30pm or 11:00am-11:30pm

**Location**: Reading

Our prestigious client is currently recruiting for an experienced Head Waiter to join their busy, fast-paced team. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the restaurant, ensuring the team is fully trained and able to offer the highest levels ofservice.

**The role**:

- Training and continually developing the Restaurant team to achieve their personal best
- On a day-to-day basis planning, organising, and directing the work of the Restaurant Team
- Maintaining staff efficiency and morale in the restaurant at the highest level
- Resolving customer complaints about food quality or service
- Assisting restaurant service to ensure a smooth and professional operation of the restaurant
- Maintaining a high personal appearance and hygiene standards.
- Be customer orientated, welcoming and friendly; maintain a professional & respectful attitude and behaviour to guests, colleagues & management

**The person**:

- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to pick up things fast
- Previous experience in managing a team
