**Job description**

Park Blue Homes is a residential provider for children and young people aged 7-17 years who display emotional and behavioural difficulties and a residential home for young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are looking for female Waking Night Support Workers to join one of our teams at our homes in Evenwood, County Durham.

The home in which we are currently recruiting for is our residential home with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will be on hand to offer the young people support throughout the night if required, as well as tending to personal care needs of those who require it and preparing young people for their morning routines, along with a secondary waking night shift worker.

**Main Roles & Responsibilities**
- Ensure the safeguarding of the young people living in the home
- Maintaining a safe living and working environment
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and ensure that these are followed by team members
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with young people and to help increase their self-confidence and self-worth.

The role will include weekends and Bank Holidays.

Under the terms of the Children’s Homes Regulations, due to the ages of the young people we look after, all applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

**Pre-employment Checks**

We are only able to accept female applicants for this role due to the support requirements for the vulnerable children.

**Salary**: £120 per night

Four nights per week between the hours of 21:15 pm - 07:45 am.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £120.00 per day
