**The Role**

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input - accompanied with the ordering and delivery of goods
- Implementing standardisation and improving demand planning processes throughout the business
- Develop reporting and KPIs for the management of inventory accompanied with maintaining agreed service levels within the business whilst minimizing excess inventory
- Consolidate demand forecasts from various sales leads to order optimal stock levels for each calendar year
- Maintain production and delivery for key products throughout the year for disbursement to sales teams within the business, accompanied with back order management and payment timings on the ERP system
- Strong data management skills, maintain an ordering system on an ERP with accurate data
- Communicating under/over stocks as well as time critical inventory within the business to help aid sales and customer management
- Propose end of line SKUs as well as highlighting areas of weakness in product ranges for product development
- Develop reporting and KPI management of inventory accompanied with maintain agreed service levels within the business
- Ability to monitor shipping couriers’ delivery times and pricing accompanied with spotting supply chain issues when they arise - raising concerns where appropriate
- Continuously improve demand planning processes and methodologies

**Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes**
- Demonstratable forecasting techniques and capability is essential
- Must have exceptional analytical skills with an eye for detail
- A solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial awareness and reporting skills
- Knowledge of Orderwise ERP system is desirable
- Must have proven experience in a demand planning role

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Salary is dependant on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
