We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper/ Management Accountant to join our tame based in our office in Liverpool. We are a construction company specialising in luxury homes and refurbishments.

Responsibilities to include:
Bookkeeping

Financial Administration.

Sales and Purchase Ledger.

VAT rtns.

PAYE rtns.

CIS rtns.

Project Cost Reports.

Team Expense Reports

Monthly Management

Accounts.

Maintain and update financial records promptly.

Manage weekly and monthly payroll operations and ensure timely payment.

Assist in preparing annual accounts and financial reports.

Review and recommend improvements to financial records

Manage payroll

Assist in preparing annual accounts

Review and recommend improvements to financial processes.

Liaise with external auditors during audits.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Support the Management team with budgeting and financial planning.

Provide financial advice to improve profitability.

We are hoping for applicants who have:
An educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.

Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

Experience of working within a UK practice managing a portfolio of clients.

Able to work independently and happy clearing up queries and requesting information from clients.

Exposure to Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and DEXT.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.

Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexitime

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
