Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with other members of the team to manage the team helpdesk system and resolve user-submitted problems and questions
- Undertake any tasks or projects that are necessary to achieve team and company objectives
- Extract key messages from complex data analysis and communicate these effectively
- Contribute towards the testing of updates, changes, bug fixes, new processes and new development releases
- Ensure quality delivery against agreed timescales and priorities
- Provide support and cover for other members of the team as required
- Ensure that change and security control procedures are followed
- Comply with all relevant policies and procedures work to ISO standards

Technical Knowledge and Professional Qualifications
Key Skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issues, and recommend appropriate course of action to address the issues
- Ability to envision and deliver solutions that meet user needs and/or solve business problems
- Ability to articulate and gain engagement for ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences

Essential Qualifications
Desirable
- Advanced Excel skills and experience of writing, debugging complex macros in VBA
- Experience of coding using more than one recognised industry standard language (e.g. VB.Net, C#); understanding of object-orientated software engineering
- An understanding of relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server
