**Job Purpose**

To support the Cleaning Co-Ordinator and carry out cleaning tasks

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Carrying out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping/vacuuming of floors, cleaning of walls and raised surfaces within the factory and Offices.
- Cleaning toilet/bathroom facilities
- Emptying general waste and recycling bins as required
- Cleaning up spillages where required
- Safe and responsible handling, storage and use of industrial cleaning chemicals (COSHH) Training will be given.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner bags etc)
- Operating cleaning equipment (floor scrubber, vacuum cleaner)
- Reporting safety concerns regarding products and equipment
- Cover for Holidays and Sickness, if required.
- Completing daily/weekly task sheets
- Working with other departments to arrange appropriate times to carry out cleaning operations.
- To participate in training, as requested
- To check stock and re-order materials as required
- To perform any other duties as reasonably required by your manager or director.

All roles and responsibilities to be carried out in accordance with the Quality Management System, (Work Instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)), good housekeeping, departmental and company procedures.

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Level 1 Maths and English or equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and processes.
- Driving license and own car

**Desirable**
- Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.
- Previous cleaning experience in a factory environment
- Flexible to working at both sites, if required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
