- **Role Description - Piping Designer / Draughtsperson**_

As a member of the Piping Design team you will be responsible for conducting site surveys to gather the required project data in the form of field sketches.

From data gathered you will be responsible for developing, general arrangements, 3D models, orthographic and isometric drawings of piping to a standard suitable for fabrication and installation. This role involves both onsite surveying and office based working. This role is located in Southampton.
- **Skills and Experience**_
- Piping Design and Plant Layout.
- Proficient in 2D Computer-Aided Design
- Experience with Autodesk Plant 3D (Desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge and experience with common piping standards and codes.
- Good awareness of common piping components and equipment.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
- Experience with Robotic Total Station surveying desirable.

Salary dependent on skills and experience.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Southampton UK.

Expected hours: 38 per week
