**Location**: Headstart Nursery, Upton, Chester. CH2 1HX
**Hours**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years
- Ensure all meals meet dietary, allergy, and nutritional requirements
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety (in line with food hygiene regulations)
- Manage kitchen supplies and ensure proper stock rotation
- Keep accurate records of food preparation and cleaning schedules

**Requirements**:

- Experience working as a cook in a nursery, school, or similar setting
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or above (essential)
- Knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements, and portion control for children
- A warm, reliable, and organised approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
