**Due to our continued expansion at B&M Retail, we are looking for Warehouse Shift Managers to be based in our 1million sq.ft. Bedford Distribution Centre, located on Zander Way, Wixams, Bedford, MK42 6EY.**

**Shifts Available**:
**Weekend Nights - Sat, Sun & Mon 6pm-6am (33.75 hrs)**

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for driving an efficient team to meet its KPI's. You will provide an effective and reliable service to our stores, while meeting all legal requirements. To be successful, you will be an experienced WarehouseManager who prides themselves on driving, developing, and leading teams through motivation, training, and development.

**The key accountabilities of the role will be**:

- Lead, motivate, inspire and challenge your team to consistently deliver high results and help drive maximum productivity and service to our stores
- To ensure the high levels of store service and productivity KPIs are consistently and consistently maintained
- Responsible for all operational departments and to drive continuous improvement within those areas
- Engage in the recruitment process and control labour costs
- Ensure that the warehouse H&S standards are maintained
- Lead by example and where necessary, carry out incident and accident investigations and escalate where necessary
- Drive to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
- Strong DC practice knowledge
- A team player with outstanding leadership skills
- Able to develop and maintain good relationships across the business
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Computer literate with good numeric skills
