Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our client as a Driver's Mate. As a Driver's Mate, you will assist the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Safely secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Follow delivery routes and ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the driver to navigate traffic and find optimal routes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong materials handling skills, including picking, packing, and shipping/receiving
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial

Hours of work vary and will involve early starts, late finishes, possible nights away from home and weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 60 per week
