Your new role as Financial Controller:
As Financial Controller you shall work alongside the CFO to develop the finance function during this period of growth. A varied role, taking the lead over the management of the finance team, you shall ensure effective financial controls are in place acrossthe group in line with the CFO and Executive Board’s requirements. Part of the management team, this role will take the lead on the production of monthly management accounts, budgets and the forecasting process across each of the business units in the Group.Working with the CFO you shall enable and facilitate further growth in a varied and exciting position which offers career progression, development and an opportunity to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Main Role Duties:
Responsibility across all areas of the Finance function, including complete oversight of invoicing, monthly payroll, bank reconciliation and the production of monthly management accounts for each business unit.
Set up,?oversee?and regularly develop?both process, procedure and the company’s finance IT system?in liaison with IT staff.
Manage develop and coach the existing finance team.
Financial analysis enabling forecasting and budgets for stakeholders.
Preparation of timely and detailed reports on business/financial performance on a?monthly,?quarterly and annual basis
Work alongside the CFO on future investments.
Conduct profit and cost analyses?on a regular basis.
Preparation of Monthly accounts/forecasts for board meetings.
Preparation of Annual Accounts with Group’s accountants.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Prepare a budget for the year and advise staff/management monthly on balance of funds available as required.
Implementing and developing financial policies and procedures.
To be responsible for office management inclusive of supervision of premises, including leases and dealing with service providers.
Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered you shall be CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a lead finance role. Analytically minded with strong analytical skills you shall have a strong attention to detail with experiencein the day-to-day management of a finance function and team. With at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role you shall have an in-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and?the processing of payroll. A business partner, able tocommunicate financial detail to non-financial personnel, you shall also have the ability and confidence to present at board meetings and prepare financial presentations.
