**Overview
**Wincanton is recruiting for a Regional HSEQ Trainer & Instructor to join the Central HSEQ Training team. You will be responsible for delivering Wincanton HSEQ training programs across the business and ensuring training programs are continuously reviewed and updated in line with legislation and industry best practice.
This is a regional role and will involve weekly travel around the North and Midlands. Some travel further afield may also be expected. Remote working can be supported.
**Salary**: £35k +car + benefits
**How will you contribute?**:
- Deliver training to meet course aims and objectives using a range of teaching methods.
- Liaise with Divisional HSEQ Managers / HSEQ Senior Management Team to ensure training offering supports business needs and feedback any concerns raised following discussions in training courses.
- To write and develop, high quality training courses in line with current legal, company standards and objectives using a range of teaching methods.
- To write and develop bespoke high-quality training courses for specific customers as required.
- Regularly review and maintain course training materials to ensure they are always up to date with relevant material and in line with current legal standards.
- Evaluate the success and impact of training given and learn lessons where required.
- Work with the HSEQ team and wider business to identify opportunities to increase the HSEQ training portfolio.
- Keeping up to date in developments in HSEQ and training by reading relevant journals and publications.
- To produce timely and accurate reports for training analysis.
- Undertaking regular upskilling training qualifications.
**What will you bring?**:
- Demonstrable training experience in delivering a range of HSEQ courses
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- Formal training qualification i.e. PTLLS, BTEC Award in Education and Training (L3) or above
- Membership of a relevant professional body
- Good understanding of HSEQ practices and management techniques
- Confident and proficient at writing and delivering presentations
- Effective communication skills and verbally articulate
- Highly organised with a good attention to detail
- Advanced user of PowerPoint
- Willingness to work away from home on a regular basis with overnight stays
