Based within our Prepared Produce Department you will ensure manufacturing machines are served with the correct tooling and maintained to a high standard to ensure a smooth running of operations. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the production lines including preventive actions, efficient start-up and the smooth running of machinery.

**Key areas of Responsibility**
- Follow the company processes and procedures in relation to food safety, allergen control, protective clothing and maintain good manufacturing practices throughout the shift.
- Follow the clean as you go policy and maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
- Deliver high standards of quality, ensuring products are produced in line with site standards and customer specification.
- Adhere to plan and keep the production downtime to a minimum.
- Complete product changeovers in a timely manner.
- Perform checks to a high standard.
- Assist in machinery fault finding and problem solving.
- Liaise with engineers and team leaders about lines performance and issues.
- Complete and submit documentation accurately and in a timely manner to ensure traceability is maintained.
- Minimise the environmental impact by following the company waste disposal procedures.
- Support new product development process.
- Meet the relevant KPIs and targets assigned by line manager.
- Assist in day-to-day operation and provide cover and support to other operatives if necessary.
- Ensure Health and Safety is at the highest standard and following company policies and procedures

Successful applicants will have 1+ year experience within food manufacturing**, **in addition you will drive positive change by an enthusiastic, can do attitude and have ability to build rapport and trust with co-workers at all levels.
