Senior Solutions Architect

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Solutions Architect in our Peterborough or London Office (Hybrid work available). As a Senior Solutions Architectyou will provide technical governance and leadership for a large and complicated technology transformationwithin a global environment.

We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to communicate and confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels. You will work on your own initiative as well as be part of team, working towards agreedcommon goals.

What you’ll do: Main responsibilities
- To drive and facilitate the company-wide technology transformation initiative.
- Be accountable for technical leadership and advice for multiple projects ensuring that solutions are aligned to CDW best practices and business needs.
- As a senior member of the architecture review board, you will define, document, and provide architectural governance to projects.
- Provide proactive engagement across the internal IT estate identifying initiatives, improvements and risks which support continuous improvement of platforms and capabilities.
- Create architectures, strategies, policies, roadmaps, and patterns that support the business in delivering value.

What you need to succeed: Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

Essential
- Experience as a Solution Architect responsible for the entire delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent business stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
- Enterprise scale solutions involving COTS software products alongside inhouse solutions.
- Domain experience with WMS, ERP, CRM, PSA, or CPQ platforms.
- Experience with DevOps, IAC and Kubernetes based platforms on Azure.
- Experience with modern data integration, governance & reporting platforms.

Desirable
- TOGAF experience or similar Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud networking design and security.
- Providing technical governance through an Architecture Review Board process.
- Project / Programme Management experience.
- Familiarity and experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS.
- Experience in overseeing the engagement with 3rdparty vendors.
- Computing related Degree / Education.
- Holds industry-recognised expert level technical qualifications.
