THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Management Accountant to join this well-established Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide support and assist in the provision of a comprehensive management accounting serviceto the Group.
Duties will include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of business performance reports
- Preparation/development of dashboard type reporting on a monthly basis
- Presentation, discussion and interpretation of financial performance
- Develop and improve budgeting, forecasting and reporting of expenditure
- Support the Commercial team in the financial analysis of commercial opportunities and report on business won, via CRM report
Cash flow forecasting
- Support Business areas in budget preparation
- Provide accounting support to the wider business as required, including grant claims, pension schemes and improvement projects;
- Support Financial Accountants with statutory reporting requirements and other ad hoc tasks
- Assist in the day to day management of the maintenance and development of the management accounting system
- Ensure that P&L data derived from subsidiary systems/interface is recorded accurately, including stock, payroll, revenue data, etc
- Undertake ad-hoc project work as required by the Financial Controller and other managers in the Finance team

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Qualified CCAB (CIMA, ACCA,ACA)
- Previous experience of working within a finance department.
- Experience in the analysis and interpretation of financial data and the preparation of financial reports.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, legislation and policies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial activity, information, and queries
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and financial ledger systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; including the ability to coordinate a range of duties and meet tight deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and able to work accurately under pressure

Hybrid working available - 3 days office, 2 days home
