**Summary**
To be involved in all aspects of sperm donor recruitment, procurement and sales for Semovo.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To be completely confidential in all matters pertaining to Semovo, and adhere to the guidelines of the regulatory bodies
- Participate in all areas of sperm donor recruitment - from enquiry, assessment leading to acceptance and ongoing screening of sperm donors
- Manage sperm donation from our satellite clinics in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, and Wigan with occasional travel to other clinics e.g. Glasgow
- Perform diagnostic semen analysis and cryopreservation of donor sperm
- Maintain accurate laboratory and patient records using MedITEX software
- Maintain donor sperm stock control using MedITEX software
- Process donor sales to third party clinics and patients of third party clinics
- Coordinate shipping, receiving and deposition of cryopreserved donated sperm
- Perform daily and monthly quality control and validation procedures for equipment used in the laboratory
- Act as Ambassador for Semovo
- Providing the team with key performance indicators as required
- Participation in Performance Management Process
- Perform Venepuncture for screening of sperm donors - full training provided

Broad scientific knowledge, as demonstrated by a degree in Biological Science

**BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE**
**Essential Requirements**:
- Degree in Biological Sciences
- UK driving license (a provisional license holder cannot be considered)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in a laboratory
- Good physical dexterity with excellent hand-eye co-ordination and manipulation skills
- Computer literacy including experience with the use of databases and spreadsheets
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Good analytical and judgement skills
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills
**Desirable requirements**:
- Experience of working in a regulated laboratory environment with quality assurance
- Knowledge and practical experience of aseptic technique
